Heads up Rams! Exciting news coming at ya!
Top 40 (wait for it…), platinum-selling, (almost there…) band…
(one more suspenseful moment, just for fun...)
Cobra Starship is going to be at Colorado State University on the IM fields September 15 to rock your wool socks off.
I want you to know that I truly got into character to write about this. I’ve got my hipster glasses on and I’m pumping some Cobra Starship in my headphones. I’m enjoying it. In fact, I’m imagining myself on the IM fields right now, dancing my face off in multi-colored lighting.
Before I get distracted by my inclination to dance until I drop, here is the down low:
Breathe Carolina, a band from Denver (who also have a Top 40 hit!), and Echo Chamber will be opening for the headliners. So tell me, how can you justify staying home? Especially if you consider this great point made by Vinny Ybarra, concert coordinator for the Association for Student Activity Programming (ASAP):
“It’s a night out, and the same price as a movie,” Ybarra explained.
Lindsay Brown, a concert coordinator for ASAP also pointed out that, “CSU has never had a band with their style of music during the fall concert, and I feel that this will be refreshing for the community.”
Don’t you think you could use a little refreshment, Rams? I sure could.
To prep you, here is a link to one of their videos. Ch-ch-ch-check it out.

‘til next time!
