Welcome to the Aspen Grille!

This year the Aspen Grille is excited to continue our green efforts through our support of local and sustainable producers. One of our new partners, Harvest Farms, is located just north of us, in Wellington. Part of the Denver Rescue Mission, Harvest Farms offers rehabilitation, to those in need, through farming. Many of our daily menu items include the fruits of their labor.

The Aspen Grille menu also offers several meats provided by Colorado State University's own Meat Sciences department, breads crafted by the Aspen Baking Company and "socially conscious" coffee roasted by Cafe Richesse, a Colorado State University Alumnus-owned company.

We are also very proud to announce that the Grille maintains its certification, by the Green Restaurant Association, as a "green restaurant." We have completed steps to achieve this certification, with many more to come. Eco-friendly menu paper, energy efficient grills, biodegradable cleaning products, and low flow faucet aerators. We are now one of only two restaurants in Colorado to be designated as a "green restaurant."
The Aspen Grille is a student-operated restaurant located in the University Club, on the upper level of the Student Center. The Aspen Grille is open to the public, for lunch, Tuesday through Friday during the academic year.

Reservation Request

The Aspen Grille will open Tuesday, January 31, 2012. The Aspen Grille is open Tuesday through Friday and we accept reservations requests online. Upon receiving your request, an instructor will respond within 48 hours Tuesday through Friday by phone to confirm and schedule your reservation. This is a reservation request only. Please understand that due to scheduling, staffing, and limited seating, we cannot accept a same-day reservation through this form. We can generally accommodate parties of 6 or less. To make a same-day reservation or to plan a private luncheon in the LaPorte Room, please call the Aspen Grille at 491-7006.

We are happy to accommodate reservations, in the Aspen Grille dining room, for parties of 6 or less.

Private Luncheons At The ASPEN GRILLE
If you would like to make a reservation for more than 6 people, we offer private dining in the La Porte room for up to 14 people.
A banquet style menu consisting of four of our most popular items is offered and you will be served by our Aspen Grille students.
If you would like to book a private luncheon, we ask for a week's notice to make all the proper arrangements for your event.

Although the Aspen Grille is a fine-dining restaurant, it is, first and foremost, a classroom. All positions are staffed by students who rotate, each week, through each of the employee service and kitchen positions, as well as the position of manager. This allows the class to view each role in a functioning restaurant; the challenges and opportunities that may arise in each role and the benefits that each position provides to overall operations.
