Shaun Geisert has been part of the Colab team since 2006, when he took on the role of Webmaster for the Division of Student Affairs. However, he has taken an active interest in the web since the days when the Lynx text browser was cutting edge. Geisert maintained a customer support website for Factline Webservices while studying abroad in Vienna, Austria, and also built websites for student organizations during his college days. Since undergrad, he has served as webmaster for a local office furniture store, worked in computer repair at All Brands Computer Services, and run his own web development company. He believes in empowering clients with the knowledge and tools they need to do their jobs more efficiently, via aesthetically-pleasing websites that emphasize usability and accessibility. Outside of geekdom, he enjoys being married to his lovely wife, and keeps busy raising their new daughter, Brenna, playing bass guitar in a band, brewing beer, getting into the outdoors (hiking, skiing, or just travelling about), being involved in photography, reading, or just playing with his two Australian Shepherds. Geisert holds a B.S in Economics from Midland University and is part-way through a 5 year plan to receive a M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University.
