With the philosophy that marketing is serious work--but not as effective without adding a dash of fun--she strives to foster energy and vitality in the office. This approach combines experience in journalism, public relations and new media technology, as well as marketing. Previously, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Simply Alive!, a manufacturing company distributing lifestyle products to retail stores globally; as Regional Marketing Director for Great Expectations, and in territory marketing for Johnson and Johnson and Pepsi Cola. Luckutt often contributes to print and broadcast media nationwide. A proud alumna, Luckutt holds a BA from Colorado State and an MBA from the University of Denver.

She strives to bring a tightly-integrated approach of graphic design and multimedia to the Colab’s web projects. Grogan began working in the world of web development in 2004 and has held positions of director of IT, project lead, and technical team lead for large corporations such as Universal American, Inc., National Geographic Imaging, and Hardin Construction. In her spare time, Grogan enjoys photographing the beautiful Colorado mountains, hiking, and spending time with “Bella,” her Maltese/shih-tzu mix.

Adams graduated with a BA in Graphic Design from California State University, San Bernardino in 2002. Her work experience includes positions as Senior Graphic Designer and Manager with MGM MIRAGE, HDI (HelpDesk Institute), Wyoming Main Street, Rawlins-Carbon County Chamber of Commerce, and Augason Farms. Design and communication is her passion and she is looking forward to bringing her leadership skills to the Colab team. In her spare time, Adams enjoys spending time with her 14 year old son, Cole and 7 year old daughter, Paige. She also enjoys photography, reading, bowling, going to the movies, riding bikes, cake decorating and traveling.
P: (970) 491-0736 | F: (970) 491-7296 | shaun.geisert@colostate.edu Shaun Geisert has been part of the Colab team since 2006, when he took on the role of Webmaster for the Division of Student Affairs. However, he has taken an active interest in the web since the days when the Lynx text browser was cutting edge. Geisert maintained a customer support website for Factline Webservices while studying abroad in Vienna, Austria, and also built websites for student organizations during his college days. Since undergrad, he has served as webmaster for a local office furniture store, worked in computer repair at All Brands Computer Services, and run his own web development company. He believes in empowering clients with the knowledge and tools they need to do their jobs more efficiently, via aesthetically-pleasing websites that emphasize usability and accessibility. Outside of geekdom, he enjoys being married to his lovely wife, and keeps busy raising their new daughter, Brenna, playing bass guitar in a band, brewing beer, getting into the outdoors (hiking, skiing, or just travelling about), being involved in photography, reading, or just playing with his two Australian Shepherds. Geisert holds a B.S in Economics from Midland University and is part-way through a 5 year plan to receive a M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University.

Part graphic designer, part traditional artist, and part programmer, Timmons seeks to unite skills in the modern world of graphic art. Using slight OCD tendencies and understanding of popular trends in the world of graphics as influences provides Timmons with a unique competitive edge in his chosen field. Intrigued that almost everyone and everything needs a graphic designer of some sort, this fuels his drive to thrive in the graphic design industry.

Underwood is excited to step into a new position as a designer at Colab to gain great experience with collaboration, communication, and exercising creativity. As a junior in the Graphic Design program in CSU’s Art department, Underwood has had great experiences with past internships and now is embarking on a new bridge to progress her career in Graphic Design. She is excited to practice collaboration and effective delivery of voicing clients’ needs. When time is not spent pushing pixels on the computer for her design work, she enjoys playing music and singing or cooking up new tasty concoctions.

Design, illustration and mixed media work all present unique challenges for him, and new approaches problem solving. He brings mix of tradition fine art and modern digital techniques gives his work helps his print work to keep it creative, personal and unique. Beyond the realm of art and design, Duncan enjoys skiing, hiking, and the active lifestyle of Colorado.

Born and raised in Nairobi Kenya, Limo feels privileged to have the opportunity to study in the United States and is excited to be one of the newest additions to the Colab team. While working at Colab, Limo hopes to grow as a team player and develop her creative and marketing skills while promoting and supporting the awesome extracurricular activities CSU offers. Unlike some of her Kenyan countrymen, Limo couldn’t run to save her life. She does, however, enjoy watching safari rallies and sitting on the white sandy beaches off the East African coast, listening to the cracking waves and relishing the blissful breeze. Since there are no beaches or rallies in Colorado, Limo has grown to appreciate the great outdoors like camping and hiking though she is still working on appreciating the snow.

Although not his field of study, Kulka greatly enjoys graphic design and practices it constantly in his free time. He listens to all genres of music and can always be found with a giant pair of headphones firmly clasped around his ears. As a self-proclaimed hipster, Kulka spends his time in coffee shops or writing music for his band of four years. He has a quirky obsession with cats and sock monkeys.

Martinez is currently a junior studying Journalism and Technical Communications with a minor in business. Martinez is eager to learn through new experiences with clients and other graphic designers with Colab. With her current six years of using Adobe Design Suites, she has developed a way to always put her ideas in visual form. She is striving to learn the other side of journalism through experiencing marketing first hand with Colab. Her interest in learning is what drives her to create new and amazing graphics. In her spare time she enjoys writing articles, researching for projects, knitting, sewing and fishing with her husband.

She is passionate about graphic design, which she defines as the process of creative problem solving. Maydew enjoys challenges and graphic design’s dynamic nature. Her design experience includes an internship with a Denver design firm and freelance work for departments at CSU. Colab graphic designers have the opportunity to collaborate on projects and Maydew looks forward to working with others to continue to grow as a designer. When she's not doing yoga, riding her bike, petting cats, or spending time outdoors, Maydew leads CSU's animal rights group, Rams Organizing for Animal Rights (ROAR), and works on perfecting her favorite vegan recipes.

His interest in design and creative propelled him into the business of marketing. Sophistication, style, and creativity govern the way he conducts business, and Farley is constantly seeking to improve further. In the past, she expanded her skills through work with State Farm Insurance, Chipotle, and FirstData. She admits that she cannot cook, but can bring flavor to ideas through words and imagination. While Manweiler believes in the traditional rules and structure of good writing, she constantly searches for new and limitless ways to put her writing to use.

Even with a busy schedule, Fagan makes every effort to spend time doing the things she loves: attending professional musicals in Denver, watching competition reality shows with her roommates, and hanging out with her family. An avid Disney fan, Fagan aspires to be a part of the marketing team for The Walt Disney Company after graduation.

Tina is a first year Graduate Student in the Environmental & Radiological Health Sciences specializing in Toxicology. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated with a degree in Neuroscience. In her time off, Tina likes to cook, bake, and create recipes (and is always willing to feed others!). She also like running, kickboxing, and swimming. Her main goal in life is to make a difference in someone's life.

While keeping as busy as she can, Sarah always makes time to change her hair color as often as possible, play her ukulele as loud as possible and laugh her way through anything. He is an intern for the Spring 2013 semester and is looking forward to finishing his career at CSU with Colab. In addition to Colab, Harrell is a member of the CSU Men’s Golf team and aspires to become a professional golfer after he graduates; he hopes to one day to make a living playing the game he loves.
