The Drake Centre has over 12,000 SF of even space, suiting every need from intimate gatherings to large banquets.  Catering is exclusively provided by LSC Catering and offers an extensive menu that is sure to please every palate and can be customized to fit your individual style and vision.  Conveniently located close to the CSU main campus and with so many options for events, the Drake Centre is an excellent location for your next event.

Event Spaces
 

The Drake Centre is a versatile space that is multifunctional depending on the size of the event.  The ballroom features a moveable partition which can create the opportunity to use one section at a time and is a classic setting for large banquets.  The meeting rooms are perfect for dining, presentations, and lectures.  Access to the meeting rooms and ballroom are through separate exterior entrances.

Please note that capacities will be affected by staging, buffet tables, and technical needs.

Technical Capabilities

The ballroom features 4 LCD projectors (two in each ballroom), a house sound system with two wireless microphones, and wireless internet. Each meeting room also features an LCD projector and a wireless microphone. Technical services staff can help make every event run smoothly and will be available for assistance throughout your event (additional staffing charges may apply).

Pricing

Pricing is effective from October 2012 to June 30, 2013 and subject to change with the new fiscal year.

Minimum Guarantees

There are minimum guarantees to reserve space: Minimum of 50 people to reserve one section of the ballroom, minimum of 30 people to reserve conference room and minimum of 20 people to reserve banquet room.   

We reserve the right to move you to a smaller venue at the Drake Centre if minimum guarantees are not met and if other locations are available.

Our wide variety of spaces can accommodate your staff or student organization meetings, lecture, workshop, special event, or wedding. Our coordinators will work with you to determine the space, technology and equipment that is right for you. Guidelines

Event Planning has guidelines concerning the preference for space reservations for various classifications of groups, organizations, entities, etc. These guidelines were developed in coordination with the University to promote fairness and equity across a very diverse population who utilizes the LSC throughout the year.
