Frequently Asked Questions
- If I cannot come into the Flea Market on my vending day and have already paid do I get my money back?
No, the table rental fee is non-refundable. However, if you give the Flea Market advance notice that you cannot come on your scheduled day, you may reschedule for another time.
- Does the student organization work the vending table when they sponsor a Non-CSU vendor?
The student organization is encouraged to have some visibility at the table, but this is NOT required. The Flea Market provides a table card with both your company's name and the name of your sponsoring organization. There must be a person representing your company at your table at all times.
- Do I (non-CSU vendor) need to find a sponsor or will the Flea Market staff find one for me?
As a Non-CSU vendor, you are responsible for finding a sponsor, though the Flea Market staff can certainly help you by providing the student organization.
- How can a student organization sponsor a non-CSU vendor?
Student organizations need to join the Flea Market “Hot List” by signing up at the Flea Market desk located on the lower level of the Lory Student Center. Once the organization is placed on the “Hot List” they have given permission for any vendor to come in and sponsor them for a visit in the Flea Market. Organizations remain on the list for the entire academic year, or until all fifteen (15) days have been used by either fundraising by the organization, or sponsored by a vendor.
- Can I sell food in the Flea Market?
ONLY CSU student organizations may sell food items. Specific guidelines apply. Please come by the office to pick up your Food Verification Form if your organization is planning on selling food. This option is NOT offered to non-CSU vendors under any circumstances.
- Can I pay for my table with a credit card?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept credit cards as a form of payment. We will take cash, a company check, or a postal money order.
