Poster Run Policy
The Poster Run is strictly reserved for CSU departments, offices, and registered student organizations, and events they sponsor. Space is limited, so advance reservations are highly encouraged. To reserve a space, contact the Campus Information Managers at 491-1786, apply for a spot using our online form below, or stop by and see us in the Lory Student Center.
How much does it cost?
The Poster Run has 8 spots each week. Each spot is reserved for a poster that is 11X17 inches or smaller at a cost of $30.00 per run. If the poster is larger than 11x17 inches you must reserve two spaces for a total of $60.00. Posters larger than 17x22 inches will not be accepted. We accept cash, check, and IMOs. IMOs must be payable to Campus Activities, and a print out of the IMO is required at the time of reservation. Please make checks payable to Campus Information. Payment is required at the time of reservation.
How often can I use the Poster Run?
There are no restrictions on the number of times an organization may reserve a Poster Run spot during a semester; however, an organization may reserve only two spots per run (per week). Also, organizations can only reserve a maximum of two consecutive weeks because of the high demand for spot reservations.
What information should my posters include?
The name of the sponsoring CSU organization or department MUST be PRINTED on each poster. We will not accept handwritten additions of a sponsoring organization’s or department’s name. Posters should include the date and time of the event, where applicable.
How long will the posters stay up?
The reservation fee reserves your poster spot for a minimum of one week and maximum of two consecutive weeks, as long as space is available. Out-dated posters will be removed.
When do I drop the posters off?
The posters will be hung between noon on Friday and 5pm on Monday. Posters must be dropped off at the Campus Information Services desk in the Lory Student Center no later than 12pm on the Thursday before the week you reserved the spot with payment. If we do not receive the posters on time, we cannot guarantee that they will be displayed. No refunds will be given.
How many posters should I bring?
The Poster Run includes 30 on-campus locations.
We do not deliver off campus because the space is not guaranteed.
