Benefits of Registration
There are numerous advantages and privileges granted to those groups who register their organization.
- Free marketing of your organization by Student Leadership, Involvement, and Community Engagement (SLiCE) staff to current CSU students and potential CSU students.
- Free use of the Resource Room (located on the Main Level of the Lory Student Center next to the SLiCE Office).
- Free use of the Student Organizations Suite for meeting space, access to computer workstations, and storage.
- Access to SLiCE professional staff, graduate students, and student staff trained in the areas of leadership development, event planning, student organization registration & recognition, and other areas to work one-on-one with student organizations.
- Holding meetings and functions on campus.
- Free use of University meeting rooms and facilities (certain areas may have rental fees).
- Opportunity to request student fee funds from ASCSU, your student government (some stipulations apply).
- Opportunity to apply for money through the Diversity Grant committee (some stipulations apply).
- Use of mailboxes, display cases and canopies.
- Opportunity to participate in Campus Activities sponsored workshops and programs.
- Free advertising in the Rocky Mountain Collegian through Club Clips sponsored by ASCSU.
- Discounted Collegian ad rates.
- Use of equipment available through the Office of Audio Visual Services, charged at regular University rates.
- Discounted rates from Transportation Services (some stipulations apply).
- Use of the Flea Market in the Lory Student Center.
- A copy of the source, the student organization handbook.
- Assistance with fund-raising activities.
