Registration Process
Officer Orientation
To fulfill one of the three requirements to become a registered student organization, the treasurer and one other officer of your choice must attend an officer's orientation annually. Orientations are offered throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. The orientation sessions generally an hour and a half and are hosted by SLiCE staff members.
Please contact the office at 491-1682 for more information. This program is an incredible opportunity to learn about all the resources that are available to you as CSU recognized student organizations...it's also an awesome opportunity to meet new people and have FUN!
Attendance at an officer orientation is required to become a registered student organization at CSU and is very helpful if your organization wishes to seek funding from the ASCSU Student Funding Board. Information on funding and funding guidelines will be reviewed in detail, along with an opportunity to ask questions.
Eligibility Requirements to be an Officer
The basic requirements to be an officer in a registered student organization are as follows:
- Be a fee paying, fully matriculated student at Colorado State University
- The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of a 2.25 or greater at the time of elections and while holding that office. If the student officer falls below a 2.25 GPA during their term of office, a one semester probationary period will be established.
